What does the book: "Citizens" say from an aesthetic point of view? Reflections on Muhammad Al-Shaqha's narrative-poetic bundle
What makes the writer Muhammad al-Mansur al-Shaqha resort to forming his new creative book through artistic components based on the events of awareness of three literary types: the short story, the short-short story, and the prose poem? The first artistic vision present in Al-Shaqha's mind was to issue his works in the context of their artistic qualitative dimension, an issue in the last story, another in the novel, and a third in poetry, but the last issue raises a preliminary question about joining three literary types side by side, so is it a visionary message that looks at writing from the side of the aesthetic expressive unity between the verbal arts? Does Al-Shaqha give us insight into narrative and poetry side by side in one book? Does one of them cast its shadow over the other? Do they complement each other, or does each art run in its own awareness? The question of qualitative writing will remain present, because the book "Muwatin" (The Cultural Literary Club in Taif, Arab Diffusion Foundation, Beirut, first edition 2018) which the writer describes as: "a bundle of narrative and poetry" makes us motivated to invoke many questions from the side of the overall significance of the texts and their relationship to each other, and their formation of a qualitative context, and the extent of their overlap or separation because they are like a bundle in one book.
