Achieved 35th Place Globally Among 191 Countries .. The Kingdom Advances 5 International Ranks in the Human Development Index Issued by the United Nations Development Programme 2022 AD
The Kingdom advanced 5 ranks in the results of the Human Development Index issued by the United Nations Development Programme report 2022, where its ranking became 35th globally among 191 countries compared to 40th in the previous edition of the report. The Kingdom also obtained 10th rank among G20 countries, and achieved the highest progress between the results of the years 2019 and 2021 among G20 countries.
Education in the Kingdom recorded a major progress in the axis of knowledge acquisition, advancing 18 ranks in the mean years of schooling index (in years), where the Kingdom advanced to 56th rank compared to 74th in the previous edition, which reflects the continuation of development processes and enhancing the ability of the Kingdom's education to compete globally, and the accompanying tireless efforts to improve learning outcomes.
Improvement in results in the knowledge acquisition scale shows the Kingdom's education keenness on human capacity development, which enhances the competitive global presence, and contributes to the rise of the Kingdom's global ranking, as achieving this progress takes long years in which the Kingdom's education was able, thanks to the support of the wise leadership – may ,d aid them - to achieve it in less time and with full efficiency and capability, and with tireless efforts from the entire education system in the Kingdom.
The United Nations Development Programme report 2022 focuses on three basic dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.
