Six novelists, storytellers and a fine artist, gathered by one space which is the space of love for writing and art, in a periodic monthly meeting they hold among themselves for dialogue about literature, writing, narrative, poetry, fine art and literary and cultural issues in general.

it is a continuous experience for years past, they decided finally to document it in a book that indicates it, and hints at its features and properties.

The six writers are: Khalid Al-Yousef, Saleh Al-Hassan, Abdulhafiz Al-Shammari, Mohammed Al-Muzaini, Abdulaziz Al-Saqaabi and Mohammed Al-Shaqha, and the fine artist who has become narrating with color as he is a guest on the narrators is the artist Nasser Al-Mousa.

The book that documents this cultural meeting was published titled: "Space of Passion: Between the Letter and the Color" and consists of 212 pages and is a commemorative documentary book about the monthly "Brotherhood" meeting, issued by the Arab Diffusion Foundation.

And it came in its introduction: "In Riyadh and with a literary arena at the forefront of which is the Saudi Story Club ... the monthly brotherhood meeting came since a decade of time and it is a monthly meeting at the house of one of us.. we say in the meeting everything, we exchange information and books, we discuss our new updates, and we benefit from the experiences of each other in life and in the arena of literature, and this commemorative book is a document of a decade of time with which this poetic verse of Al-Shanfara al-Azdi integrates:

By your life, there is no narrowness on earth for a man

Who traveled desired or feared while he understands

Through that the methodology of the book was divided into three matters: text, writing, and a brief biography for each participant of the seven participants, it started with an article by Khalid Al-Yousef titled: "Renewal in writing the short story: my biography with the short story and its writing" occupying pages between 15-28 then the section specific to Khalid Al-Yousef included two short stories titled: "Saffron" and "Texts of the Sun" then the biography for him.

While the book was concluded with stories and poems by Mohammed Al-Mansour Al-Shaqha in pages between: (189-211), they are: The Last Station, Immortality, The Nightmare, Ghazwan, then his biography.

And what between them work of the rest of the participants in the book fell.

Khalid Al-Yousef talks about his storytelling experience, and he believes that experimenting and renewal were necessary for the sake of achieving a degree of difference in writing the story: "I did not accept to be an imitator, especially after writing my initial texts which made me feel that I am a natural extension of names previous to me, so there was no choice for me but to exit with different texts, and it is the real stage for the beginning of writing the short story for me, and I realized after it that storytelling writing is flexible and submissive accepting experiment and renewal" / p. 15

Al-Yousef believes that he makes a style specific to him: "I was able to continue in a path that tries to build for itself a singular and renewed personality in style and presentation" / p. 17 pointing to his various storytelling publications which he started with the collection: "Snippets from the speech of violet" which was issued in the year 1404 AH / 1984 AD until the last collection of stories issued for him in the year 2011 titled: "He holds her hand" before he moves to the world of the novel.

And Saleh Al-Hassan writes titled: "My journey between reading and writing" p / 55 and in it he narrates for his experience in reading and scientific and cognitive attainment that started with the eighties Hijri, and the role of magazines in that, then the beginnings of his readings for Mahmoud Taymour and Jurji Zaydan and Mohammed Abdul Halim Abdullah: "I started in the middle stage the journey of my reading in narrative literature, so I acquired some of Jurji Zaydan's historical novels, and in the high school stage after my moving to Riyadh, the circle of my visits to book and magazine selling shops in Al-Batha and Al-Khazan street expanded, so I obtained a larger collection from the numbers of the old Al-Arabi magazine, and Al-Batha at that time was a market full of books and magazines" / p. 57 as Al-Hassan continues in the description of his experience with writing and authoring and his care for the Arabic numbers and letters through his books that he issued in this field.

And Abdulhafiz Al-Shammari writes titled: "Parts of the biography of the story, the novel and journalism" narrates his journey from the countryside to the city and his work in journalism and his issuance of seven collections of stories including: Departure of the hard-workers, boredom of the aridity, and banks of the waking, in addition to seven novels including: Meadow of the thunder, Al-Qanut, weave of the poverty, oversight.

And the articles of the book and its texts and biographies continue for each of: Abdulaziz Al-Saqaabi who writes a narrative text titled: "Journey of a signature.. a story about the story", and Abdullah Al-Muzaini: "Narrative is the cursed fruit of the devil, and the white robes of angels" and the fine artist Nasser Al-Mousa writes titled: "The artist is silent .. his language is visual" and he believes that the art works in their foundation are lines and from them the forms and colors are formed, so they are a pivotal element with the other adjacent and intersecting elements in the chosen space by the artist who plays the role of the mover and the maestro of rhythm and the clever musician. focusing in that on the value of the visual language which is a universal language and has its human and aesthetic presence.
