Weaving the Novel .. the thread of meaning
To write a novel or a story is to write from your perspective that you want others to see, and you claim in your heart that it is: the truth. While Buthaina Al-Issa mentions: "That truth in a work of art is something impossible to grasp, it is the thing that we try to reach by telling lies (stories and novels) and it is also what we see and feel while we tell lies, it is the thing that makes the novel an excellent conductor of ideas and feelings, and makes the meaning generated by our entry into the novelistic world hard to refute." Therefore, you will strive with all the artistic tools you possess to make the readers biased towards you, believing what you say, and to align with you on the same path to later take your role by seeing things from your perspective, even if they do not believe them in the end, it is worth the effort, because the success of your literary work depends on the strength of their belief in you, so you strive to create the same impression on them with as much as you can from the art of description, and not neglecting details that would transfer the interior of your vision to the exterior, as if it were the appearance of what you alone were unique in discovering, so they see it through your text as if they were seeing it with their own eyes. Rather, you are like someone who furnishes the text as we do in our homes until the reader feels the security of the place and the realism of the vision, so he gradually accepts the falsehood you have brought. Then it is easy for you to present the meaning you want to tell them so that it reaches their hearts before their minds. If they refuse as happened with Alfred Humblot, who was working with the publisher Ollendorff on the manuscript of the novel: "In Search of Lost Time," justifying that he could not understand writing thirty pages describing the state of a person tossing and turning in his bed before sleep tickled his eyelids, but the novel with all the boring description details convinced many others unlike Humblot and became an icon in the world of literature.
