Formed from all colors and exhibitions are held for it .. Al-Leeso: The first cover and the heritage crown on the head of the Omani woman
Special Report – Ahwal Al-Ma'rifa
Folk costumes constitute an important aspect of heritage, as they are a reflection of a specific national culture. The Sultanate of Oman is characterized by the diversity of heritage costumes and the beauty of their colors. The "Leeso" is the piece of cloth that Omani women place on the head, covering the upper part of the body. Given the constant presence of the Leeso on the heads of Omani women, exhibitions are held for it and songs have been written about it. The Omani writer Zuwayna Salem published a book titled "Messages of the Leeso," which includes beautiful images of multiple shapes of the Leeso. The Leeso is part of the daily dress of Omani women, which usually consists of three basic pieces: the headscarf, the dress (dishdasha), and the trousers.
