The Hail region is full of many heritage sites and activities inherited from customs and traditions deeply rooted in history, and therefore its activities related to heritage and authenticity do not stop, as these days are witnessing various heritage activities at the Hail Heritage House in Aja Park Entertainment Park, where these activities are witnessing an influx of visitors from inside the city of Hail and from the regions of the Kingdom and the Gulf countries.

The organizing committee for the events announced that the number of visitors exceeded the barrier of seven thousand visitors in the past two days, and the events include a package of heritage activities, including: folk chants and activities of the Hail House with the participation of heritage activities from the Unaizah vernorate and the heritage of the Eastern Province. The "Hail House" aims to introduce visitors to the life of grandfathers in their food, clothing, housing and public life.

Everyone of various age groups lived during the events a journey to the past.

The Hail region includes a large number of heritage and archaeological sites, most notably the archaeological site of Fayd, Al-Qashla Palace, the rock art area, Hatem Al-Tai Palace, A'irif Fort, Jubbah, Hurat Rahat, and the historic city of Al-Hayat, among other sites.

The historic city of Fayd is located along the Hajj route extending from Baghdad, where it is located exactly halfway between Mecca and Baghdad in a strategic position in the Zubaida trail developed by Zubaida, the wife of Harun Al-Rashid, and therefore it was named after her; and it is one of the most famous.

The city of Fayd was considered an important site in pre-Islamic times until the beginning of the Islamic eras. The village consists of the ruins of a massive palace.

It was built from basalt stone and to the north of this palace there are a number of structures that can be identified as halls or large connected rooms; and to the south of these structures there is what is assumed to be the heart of the city.

As for the historical A'irif Fort, it is one of the most famous tourist places in Hail and is located on top of a mountain carrying the same name as the fort and exists in the heart of the city of Hail, and the fort was built at the beginning of the eighteenth century with the aim of protecting the city from potential enemies.

Also among the archaeological sites in Hail is the city of Jubbah, ninety kilometers north of Hail, and it is the most famous site of rock art in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and sculptures can be found in the mountains of Umm Sinman, and it covers a group of inscriptions and symbols and also covers a long period of time as these sculptures may date back to ten thousand years a.

Inscriptions of humans were found along with cattle, deer, horses, lions, also ostriches and camels, and all those inscriptions are present throughout the region and the surrounding rock walls; Hurat Rahat is a place that has no equal in any other place in the world, for although the Kingdom is not famous for volcanoes, Hurat Rahat is one of the rare places that include many volcanoes.

The Hail Museum includes a natural history and geology hall where it is interested in presenting the geography history of the region to tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom. You can see samples of the rocks of the region and some mining sites and the environmental heritage of the region including plants and animals.

There is also in the museum a hall to display the Islamic heritage for the Islamic eras, including historical events and monuments from the Islamic period starting from the migration of the Prophet (pbuh) and the era of the caliphs and after that from eras, and all this is displayed through documents, boards and pictures.
