Najd heritage via a communication portal in the "Bridges" exhibition in Jakarta

The "Najd Region" pavilion attracted the attention of visitors and interested parties within the activities of the "Fifth Bridges" exhibition organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. It was the first region displayed in the exhibition, forming a visual gateway and a rich heritage model that receives the visitor with the spirit of authentic Saudi hospitality, in a scene that reflects the depth of Saudi heritage and its visual and architectural richness.

This area was designed with architecture inspired by the ancient Najdi style, one of the building styles in the Kingdom, as the elements of mud architecture were re-embodied with its huge towers and carefully decorated facades that attract the visitor with their precise details.

The pavilion includes a large screen to display documentaries about the Kingdom and its heritage, along with a wall to display photos of the Kingdom's leaders, in a message symbolizing national cohesion and inspiring leadership. The gate transports the visitor to the atmosphere of the Kingdom in the middle of the last century, where the colors of mud and the designs of "balconies", "bricks" and "heritage clothing" reflect a living scene of the authentic past. The design also shows clear effort in merging architectural aesthetics and the cultural message, enhancing visitors' understanding of the rooted Saudi identity.

The Fifth Bridges exhibition in Indonesia comes within a series of international exhibitions aimed at enhancing civilizational communication between the Kingdom and the world, and conveying a realistic image of moderate Islam and Saudi culture.
