Saudi poet Badia Kashgari is participating in the poetry evening held by the Bahrain Creative Forum on the occasion of its inauguration at 9:30 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2021, on the Zoom platform. A group of Arab poets are participating with her: Ali Al-Baqali, Abdulhamid Al-Qaed, poet Jamila Alawi, Nada Abu Shawish and Manar Al-Sammak, and the evening is moderated by Ahmed Al-Muathen. Poet Badia Kashgari is one of the pioneers of modern poetry in the Kingdom. Her poetry is based on contemplation of the soul, the universe, nature, history, and reality, and the visions and obsessions that haunt the poetic self associated with place, alienation, travel, the homeland, and issues of Arab reality. She has published several poetry collections during the period between 1995 - 2014, including: Sand if it Blooms, Journey of the Soul and Time, You are not Alone, O my Homeland, Something of my Rituals, The Letters that are Me.
