The Royal Albert Hall entered its 150th year this year, and the celebration of this occasion was a new short film that tells this timeless tale in the world of shows and music.

The 90-second film narrated by Mick Jagger combines footage from more than 40 archival events from the history of the Royal Albert Hall, dating back to the 1930s, including some clips released for the first time.

The previously unpublished footage includes material from the 1960s from a Jimi Hendrix concert – alongside clips of Diana Ross performing in 1973, and material from the BBC archives of Shirley Bassey and Albert Einstein.
