Among the major development projects undertaken by the capital, Riyadh, is the creation of the longest park in the world, among a series of main projects aimed at making Riyadh a global capital suitable for living.

The Sports Track project comes as one of the important future projects that adds another beauty to the capital.

The Sports Track project includes 4.4 million square meters of open green spaces, over a distance of 135 km, about 50 sites for diverse sports, and distinctive artistic landmarks, in addition to several investment sites and areas totaling more than 2.3 million square meters.

Wadi Hanifa area, Arts area, Wadi Al-Iaysan, Recreational area, Sports area, Environmental area, Wadi Al-Sulay area, and Sands Sports Park.

Among the features of this style are its vitality and flexibility and its non-fixedness to specific elements and vocabulary. In addition, it does not include the literal copying of old urban vocabulary and imposing it on new projects, but leaves freedom for the architect and planner to set off for new and innovative vocabulary and elements that inspire and simulate the past with renewed developmental templates.

The urban code aims to achieve a sustainable urban environment that enhances the quality of life through raising the level of architectural design quality, urban planning regulations, building systems, land uses, parking controls, commercial shop signs and environmental controls, thereby unifying the urban fabric and stimulating the elements of investment and real estate development according to the best standards.

Riyadh thus achieves wide leaps as a promising global city, after its initial foundations had set off from simple old areas that fascinated the eyes of Arab and European travelers and explorers, to become today a cosmopolitan city adopting the causes of civilization, development and open urban planning.
