The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a country rich in its history and heritage inventory, and its monuments have attracted the eyes of the world through the exhibition "Masterpieces of the Kingdom's Antiquities through the Ages" which toured the world and settled in fourteen capitals and museums in Europe, America and Asia. A large part of the Saudi antiquities are located in the Al-Ula vernorate, which promises a great tourism future that the region has begun to reap some of its fruits. To confirm this importance, and in line with Vision 2030, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques had issued an order in July 2017 to establish the Royal Commission for Al-Ula vernorate, headed by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince, to develop the vernorate in a way that suits its historical value and natural components.
