The book "The Archeological School in Qatar (1916 – 1938) a Turning Point in the History of Qatar", by Salma Al-Qibti, documents the story of the Archeological School established in Qatar in 1916 and continued until 1938. It sheds light on the importance of knowledge in that era of Qatar's history, and on the reasons for establishing this school and its role. The book reviews the history of the school which was established by Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani, who chose Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Mana to undertake its establishment and management.
