The National Cultural Project for the Renewal of our Relationship with the book

The National Cultural Project to Renew the Connection with Books is one of the most prominent long-term strategic initiatives of the King Abdulaziz Public Library. The project aims to foster a knowledge-driven transformation by strengthening the relationship between readers and books, while creating an environment that nurtures creativity and innovation. It is founded on the belief that reading is the most effective means of enhancing cultural awareness and developing the skills that will shape the future of coming generations.

The project received the gracious patronage and Royal approval on 4 Safar 1424 AH (6 April 2003), designating the King Abdulaziz Public Library as the headquarters of the project's General Secretariat and its strategic launch point. Through this initiative, the Library seeks to inspire society toward a more active and informed way of life, recognizing the profound influence of books in shaping minds and building the future.
