The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) continued its efforts to protect the antiquities of Palestine and its national and human heritage. The World Heritage Committee of the organization, during its 46th session hosted this week by the Indian capital, New Delhi, adopted several decisions by consensus on preserving and protecting Palestinian sites registered on the List of World Heritage in Danger.
