The Arab society in the middle of this century was preoccupied with many issues related to renewal, liberation, revolution and independence. The Arab street was filled with these words due to its preoccupation with regional and national Arab concerns. For more than half a century, factors of resistance continued to interact within the Arab society and national fronts composed of political parties of various stripes and directions crystallized.
