The Visual Arts Commission launched the first edition of the "Shift22" festival specialized in mural art, which continues until October 30 in Irqah Hospital, Riyadh. More than 30 local and international artists presented works inspired by the hospital's architectural elements. Local artists like Zeinab Al-Mahoozi and Nawaf Nezar participated with murals such as "Soul of Light" and "Saudi Astronaut," which featured Najdi heritage styles. International artists like "Crash" used letters and musical notes in "Love Poem," while Tony Schumann redefined happiness in "Transformation." Visual technology turned hospital buildings into an open night museum. Artist Zeel Bell transformed hospital wreckage into amazing sculptures. The festival provided specialized workshops in artistic drawing and a "skate park" for skating enthusiasts. Shift22 aims to focus on the latest art forms in the Kingdom and provide a platform to showcase artists' products.
