King Abdulaziz Public Library in Riyadh signed on Sunday, August 28, 2022 AD, with Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University represented by the Deanship of Library Affairs, a cultural cooperation memorandum aimed at cooperating in implementing knowledge and cultural programs and activities that help in supporting scientific research processes and providing and organizing information sources, and developing children's culture through enriching and supporting the translation movement for children's books and building bridges of cultural and knowledge communication in common fields of interest to both parties. 

The memorandum was signed at the headquarters of the King Abdulaziz Public Library on Khurais Road in Riyadh by each of the Director General of the King Abdulaziz Public Library, Dr. Bandar bin Abdullah Al-Mubarak, representing the library, and Dr. Hanan bint Nasser Al-Saqiah, Dean of the Deanship of Library Affairs at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, representing the university.

The two parties agreed to cooperate among themselves in the field of libraries in terms of making inter-library loan service available, exchanging expertise and training in the library framework, providing cataloging courses, maintaining and treating manuscripts, making printed and digital university theses available, and enriching children's libraries through translating and publishing children's books. 

The cooperation memorandum also includes cooperation with the College of Design and Arts in the field of drawings and design, and providing the opportunity for female students of the College of Visual Arts to contribute to drawing and designing books for children, as well as cultural cooperation in periodic and annual cultural and knowledge events such as: book fairs, seminars and concluded events, training workshops, and in the field of scientific and research activities, and working on serving the community through specialized training, and cooperative training . 

The cooperation memorandum comes from the desire of both parties to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership and emanating from the Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 supporting development, and out of keenness for fruitful cooperation between Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University and King Abdulaziz Public Library, where the two parties seek to achieve that through a package of initiatives and various activities to develop and support the frameworks of this joint cooperation, and activate the role of knowledge and expertise exchange.
