The Camel Club and the King Abdulaziz Public Library in a cultural seminar on the role of camels in the unification of the Kingdom
On the occasion of National Day, the Camel Club in cooperation with the King Abdulaziz Public Library is holding today, Monday, a cultural seminar on the role of camels in unifying the Kingdom in the presence of a number of intellectuals, writers, camel owners and those interested in history, at the library headquarters in Riyadh.
The seminar will address a paper on "Restoring Riyadh at the hands of the late King Abdulaziz" by Dr. Saeed Al-Qahtani, while Dr. Ibrahim Al-Dughairi will present a topic on "The role of camels in the cultural shift of the Arabian Peninsula in the past and present," along with the main title that will be presented by the researcher Turki Al-Ghannami.
It is noted that the signed memorandum of understanding between the two parties includes the exchange of expertise in the field of research and studies on camels, and benefiting from the library's cultural and scientific stock to support the club's programs, in addition to coordination and cooperation between them to establish the “Camel Information Center”, which will include a specialized library, concerned with all sources, inventorying the intellectual production of camels, and employing the relations, expertise and cadres of both parties to serve their common ,als in the framework of their quest to promote the culture of camels, and achieve integration in scientific and cultural activities.
